Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp Josh has joked about the new terms in Mohamed Salah’s contract after new forward Darwin Nunez scored four goals in the 5-0 win over Leipzig.

   Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has jokingly suggested that Mohamed Salah has a clause in his new contract stipulating that Darwin Nunez will take the penalty. The Uruguayan striker managed to score his first for the Reds in a game against RB Leipzig last night (Thursday 21 July 2022), after Salah gave him the shot. A second-half penalty was fouled after Luis Diaz, which Nunez later netted three more times to help Liverpool win 5-0.

     “Mo! I’m not sure if there was a clause in his new contract or because he was super generous. With Darwin taking the penalty ,” Klopp exclaimed after the match, “and Darwin, Pandora’s box has been opened. That was the perfect night for him.”
